Eric Penn vs. Officer Callahan
The R.I.D.E. has officially begun.
Welcome to a 14-month journey through the streets of New York City. Meet Officer Callahan (Demie Carter), the law on the block, the voice on the radio, and the biggest Eric Penn fan who has no idea he’s currently ticketing his favorite artist.
EP 1: Eric Penn vs Officer Callahan: “Hit & Run”
In the series premiere, Eric finds himself on the wrong side of a "Hit & Run" violation. But in this world, every ticket is a key. Look closely at the violation, it reveals the title and date of the first stop on the R.I.D.E. project.
EP 2: Eric Penn vs Officer Callahan: “Horsepower”
Fresh off the turbulence of "Hit & Run," Eric Penn is in a completely different headspace. He’s found a new spark: the kind of high-octane love that makes you want to put the pedal to the metal and go full speed into the future.
Meanwhile, Callahan is having a rough shift. He’s out here gossiping to Sheila on the radio, choking on a desperately dry empanada, and furious that Eric’s car is a dusty mess.
EP 3: Eric Penn vs Officer Callahan: “Burn Out”
The tank is completely empty. That "Horsepower" high didn't last. Eric's mood has done a complete 180 as he faces the reality of a "Burn Out.” It’s the kind of love that leaves you absolutely depleted, exhausted, and left out to dry after you gave it your all to someone who was never as serious as you.
When Callahan approaches the vehicle, Eric is visibly drained. Even Callahan notices the emotional toll, but the law stops for no one. Eric walks off with another ticket, in absolute disbelief that his day could get any worse. He reaches out to his friend Joshua Boone, who shares a similar run-down energy. This exclusive cameo teases Josh's official feature on the upcoming track.
Ep 4: Eric Penn vs Officer Callahan: “U-Turn”
After catching Eric Penn live in concert between shifts, Officer Callahan (Demie Carter) finally had the ultimate realization: the artist he’s been obsessively listening to is the exact same guy whose car he’s been ticketing every month! Callahan immediately calls Sheila on the radio while he camps out by Eric's car waiting for his chance to greet him. Meanwhile, Eric’s mindset is shifting.
After the emotional turbulence of his last three months filled with love and heartbreak, Eric is taking a lighter and more easygoing approach to love. He’s moving slower and refusing to get caught up in the drama. While he knows where he wants to go he's not getting caught up when things shift directions.
